Your Career: Getting Employed with BBA Career Services

Education

BBA Career Services works with you starting in the spring semester of your freshmen year. Your first step will be to take BA101, a career strategies course taught by BBA Career Services. Career Services will work with you to start formulating a career strategy that incorporates leadership, teamwork and effective communication skills as well as completing at least one required internship. Employers have provided direct feedback and input into the program in order to prepare you to enter into the business world and become leaders within the business community.

Business Administration 101

BA 101 is designed for freshmen to take in the spring semester. Taught by your Career Advisor, the course teaches you how to write resumes and professional correspondence while developing teamwork skills and confidence. Guest lecturers include professors who discuss the different majors and career paths. Peer Career Mentors share their internship experience, career-preparation journeys and offer suggestions about how to develop skills employers seek.
