Approved Vendors
All promotional items using official logos must be licensed to print by The Office of Trademark Licensing. Selecting an approved, licensed vendor is the first step. Be aware, however, that the order is not official until after the request has been approved by both the McCombs' Office of Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs and the university's Office of Trademark Licensing, and your accounting office issues a purchase order.
After getting the bid and artwork drafted, you must
complete the
McCombs Request to Use the Identifying Trademarks of The
University of Texas at Austin and McCombs School of Business form.
For promotional items, submit this form to an
approved, licensed
vendor. The vendor must provide a full (front and back) drawing showing
placement of official logos and other artwork and text on the item. Send
the form and the drawing to the
McCombs Office of
Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs.
If approved, we will submit the request to the UT Office of Trademark
Licensing on your behalf. You (or your vendor) may fax the form and
design: McCombs Office of Communications, ATTN: Gayle Hight, FAX 232-9167,
PHONE 475-6423; e-mail; or mail: Campus Code B6000.
UT Austin's Office of Trademark Licensing will contact the vendor with a decision:
approved, approved with changes, or denied. Your vendor will be in touch
with you regarding the status. Please allow 8-10 business days for the
process. If the item is approved with changes, the vendor will make the
necessary changes and proceed with production. There is no need to
submit a revised drawing unless directed by UT's Office of Trademark
Licensing.
Fill in the request form below and save it to your computer for
