Enrollment

Undergraduate students and MPA students at The University of Texas at Austin in good academic standing are eligible for enrollment in the CIBER Summer Study Abroad Programs.  CIBER-sponsored programs are open to non-business students; however, some programs may require course pre-requisites that prevent non-business students from being eligible.

A limited number of spots are available in each of the CIBER Summer Study Abroad Programs.  Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (except for for the International ACC programs, click here for details).  Students are encouraged to enroll early as some programs fill before the enrollment deadline.

Enrollment Process

• Complete the CIBER Summer Study Abroad Interest Form.

• Talk with your Academic Advisor about your intent to study
  abroad.

• Suggested:  attend an information session or meet with a CIBER

Study Abroad coordinator or Peer Advisor.
• Determine your eligibility for your program of interest.
• Check program enrollment status. Some programs fill before the
  priority enrollment deadline.
• Submit a $500 (non-refundable) deposit check or money order,

payable to The University of Texas at Austin, to CIBER in CBA-N
3.204. Include your name, UTEID, & program name on the check.

• Upon submitting your deposit, you will receive an acceptance

  packet.

• Review the Getting Started section of this website.

Important Enrollment Information for MPA Students: Given high student interest in the 2009 International Accounting Programs, enrollment for the Hong Kong and Paris Accounting programs will take place by randomized lottery.

Additional Enrollment Information:  Final acceptance to the program is contingent upon successful submission of several items (as indicated in the acceptance packet).  Students may enroll in programs that have not exceeded maximum capacity after the enrollment deadline, but in these cases students may be required to pay a $250 late enrollment fee.
