Accommodations


The hotel for the Risk Theory Society meeting is the new AT&T Conference Center on the University of Texas campus, located two blocks from the McCombs School of Business. We have reserved a block of 40 rooms. The room rate is $159 per night for single or double occupancy, king or double queen beds. The conference rate is half off the rack rate. If you wish to arrive early or to leave late, you can get the conference rate, subject to room availability, up to three days before or after the event.

Transportation from Austin Airport to ATT Conference Center on UT Campus

  • Taxi - the most convenient method. Taxi stands are just outside the terminal on the lower level at baggage claim. About a 20-minute ride in good traffic. Most drivers know the location of the ATT Conference Center. If not, just say "UT campus - MLK (19th) and University Avenue" or "UT campus - 1900 University Avenue".

  • SuperShuttle van service - cheaper than taxi. Reserve online (www.supershuttle.com) or buy a ticket at the SuperShuttle counter inside the terminal (lower level, same location as car rental booths) for $13 per person.

  • Car rental - If you want to rent a car at the airport, you can park in the garage at the ATT Conference Center.
