Classroom Speaking Opportunities

Classroom speaking is an ideal opportunity for corporate executives to enhance the educational experience of McCombs School students. Some faculty especially look to corporate speakers to enrich classes with real-world industry examples when relevant business cases align with class curriculum.

Faculty Endowments

Corporate donors may establish endowments, ensuring that their gift will last in perpetuity. Specifically, endowed chairs, academic departments, professorships and fellowships provide supplemental stipends, research support and summer research grants to retain and attract world-class faculty. With more faculty, the school is able to offer smaller class sizes and more frequent curriculum upgrades, providing a high-quality student experience.

Faculty Field Trips

Companies can host a group of faculty members at their corporate headquarters or other facilities to share current industry practices and emerging issues. These field trips allow faculty to tie theoretical issues to real-world examples, understand what industry’s needs are in terms of students’ education and gain insights that will greatly enhance their research.

Practica

Companies have the opportunity to sponsor practica, semester-long projects completed by small teams of students supervised by a McCombs School faculty member. Projects must have appropriate academic relevance with practical significance for the students’ educational experience. Practica provide students with an opportunity to supplement academic studies with practical application while companies gain insight to business challenges.
