MIS 374
MIS 374 is a required course for MIS majors. The course covers concepts and techniques for the full application development process from planning, preliminary investigation, analysis, design, to implementation.
The course begins with high level considerations of organization issues, system development goals, risks and team management. Students gain an understanding of the complexity of systems development environments and learn when to apply specific project management and development techniques. A 12-week system development project for a local organization is the focus of most of the semester.
