MyPublicInfo that conducts
extensive sweeps through billions of records, searching for a
subscriber’s name and Social Security number and tracking suspicious
modifications. IdentitySweep will monitor your records 24 hours a day, 7
days a week and notify you when your name or Social Security number is
manipulated.
This service differs from those offered by the credit monitoring
agencies because it alerts you when your name or Social Security number
are manipulated—which may happen before a new account has been opened.
IdentitySweep combs through millions of public records, looking for
“mismatches” of names, addresses and Social Security numbers. For
example, if a thief has your Social Security number and attempts to open
an account with a different name and address, that mismatch can raise a
red flag for IdentitySweep. We will alert you before
fraudulent activity may have begun.
