Lisa Koonce received her BA from Southern Illinois University in 1981, and her MAS and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1982 and 1990, respectively. She is the Deloitte and Touche Professor of Accounting. Her research interests include financial accounting and judgment and decision making. A recipient of numerous teaching awards, Koonce was inducted into the University of Texas Academy of Distinguished Teachers in 2007.
