6/30/2006: Prof. Urton Anderson Awarded the Cadmus Memorial Award by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)

5/19/2006: The Honorable Bill Archer, Senior Policy Advisor to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Former Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, speaks at the MPA/PPA graduation recognition ceremony

5/15/2006: Staff member Crystal Viagran awarded 2005-2006 Tim Matthews Staff Excellence Award. Also, Linda Yancey was recognized for completing 25 years with the McCombs school, and Dorothy Brady and Mary Ann Fair have each completed 20 years.

5/11/2006: Prof. Eric Hirst awarded the Joe D. Beasley Award for MBA Teaching Excellence.

3/15/2006: Department hosts Managerial Accounting Conference 2006 on March 23-24.
