Ph.D. Application Procedure
All doctoral students are admitted for a full-time degree program, which begins in the fall. Spring enrollment is not permitted. Over 100 applications are received each year for eight to ten spots in the entering class so the admissions process is very competitive. For example, the average GMAT percentile score for entering students is typically around the 95th percentile.
- Select a concentration.
- Send the following to the University
of Texas Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC) by January
5:
- Foreign or U.S. application
- An official transcripts
- An official GRE or GMAT scores -
the test must be taken within the past five years.
- An official TOEFL report (International students)
- Application fee -
$50.00 for US and $75.00 for international students.
- Send the following to the Management Department by January 5:
- Your choice of concentration.
- A personal statement of goals and objectives (PDF document)
- A resume -
includes background information and work experience will help the Admissions Committee evaluate your potential as a doctoral student.
- A photocopy of your transcripts
- A photocopy of your GRE or GMAT scores -
results must reach the Management Department by the application deadline.
- At least three letters of recommendation (PDF document)
- Departmental application form (PDF document)
