Requirements for IB Minor
Students in the McCombs School of Business may fulfill an official Minor in International Business in the following ways:
- 12 hours of International Business coursework
(all IB classes are Upper-Division)
In addition to any course listed under International Business, the following business courses may also be used:
FIN 376 - International Finance
MKT 372 - Global Marketing
(only this topic of MKT 372 may be counted for an IB minor)
Please note: you may only count these classes towards your minor if they are not already part of your major. Finance majors may not use FIN 376 as both a Finance Elective and towards their IB minor, and Marketing majors may not use MKT 372 - Global Marketing as both a Marketing Elective and towards their IB minor.
9 hours of International Business courses, including those stated above

Students may declare a minor after they have declared a major. You
can declare your minor online at the
BBA Major/Minor
Declaration page. You may change or remove your minor
online at any time. You may only declare one official minor.
