You may upload your essays as part as part of the online application OR you may email them to the Texas MBA for Professionals Program Office. *** If you do not have your essays finished at the time you fill out the Online Application, please go ahead and submit the application and send in your essays via email on a later date, once you have completed them. Immediate submittal of your Online Application is important as it allows speedy processing and enables the admissions team to keep in regular contact with you. Please email your essays to the address below. Please include your name, email address and date of birth on each page of your essay.

Essays are a critical means of assessing an applicant’s motivation for attending the McCombs School of Business, background and interests, communication skills, and presentation skills. Essays should be carefully written and free of typographical errors. Limit: 900 words.

For question #1 (all applicants):

What makes the Texas MBA the perfect fit for you? Include discussions around your career progression to date, your short- and long-term professional goals, and how a Professional MBA program is a fit at this time.

For question #2 (all applicants):

At the McCombs School of Business, you will be part of an active and diverse community. Referencing your personal strengths and unique experiences, how will you enrich the McCombs community during your time in the program?

For Question #3 (Answer only if you plan on applying to more than one of the MBA Programs offered by the University of Texas at Austin)

Please write a response explaining how each can fulfill your graduate school objectives as described in your earlier essay.
