About McCombs Weekly
|
McCombs Weekly is a new e-mail newsletter sent each week from the McCombs Communications Office to all faculty and staff describing upcoming and recent news at the school.
What kind of news belongs here?
Notices of upcoming events and speakers, write-ups of major accomplishments, significant press mentions, recaps of recent events, and more or less any news or feature that is likely to be of interest to the greater McCombs community.
What kind of items do not belong?
McCombs Weekly does not cover administrative information for faculty, staff or students, such as health insurance reminders, facilities updates, or registration dates.
Can McCombs employees unsubscribe?
Sorry, no. You are receiving the email on the exchange server universal accounts as one of your all-school communications. We want to keep you informed.
How can I submit content?
Email communications@mccombs.utexas.edu,
or simply "Communications" on the McCombs exchange server. Please email this general address instead of contacting the editors individually.
Who writes the content?
The Communications Office writes the newsletter and many of the stories it links
to, but the newsletter also features stories hosted on other sites at the
McCombs School, The University of Texas at Austin, and external news sources. If
you would like to write a story for consideration in the newsletter, contact the
editors.
Who are the editors?
Sandra Taylor and Cory Leahy in the Communications Office.
The Web Team assembles the html content.
