U.S. Commercial Center Briefing

It’s amazing when you consider their ability to assist with international projects.  I have to tie a string around my hand so that I remember to use them if I ever need anything in a foreign land.  I am sure that they are not utilized to their full capacity. (Brodrick)

We received another excellent briefing from the US commerce representatives.  These briefs are excellent.  Hearing about local customs from other Americans and getting a US point of view is very insightful.  (Jon)

The same key stumbling blocks for US companies are their failure to grasp the size of the country and its market as well as its distinctiveness.  For example business people will show up with brochures that are in Spanish or schedule meetings in Manaus and Sao Paulo on the same day. (Brant)

Embraer Tour

Embraer was impressive.  The facilities were very clean.  I had never seen airplane production.  So complicated.  (Kristen)

We received a brief presentation about the history of Embraer and about their planes. Then we saw the operations of Embraer’s aircraft manufacturing. (Sonal)
