The Class

In order to provide a hands-on experience in tackling real-world problems in operations consulting this Fall, the management department is offering the Operations Learning Lab class.  Groups of 4-6 students will manage a substantial project with well-known firms such as Dell, Applied Materials, Dell, Frito-Lay, or ChevronTexaco in order to hone their abilities in operational strategy, process analysis and design, supply-chain management, and total quality management.

You should take this class if you...

1.    Learn more about operations after taking the core class.
2.    Solve practical problems in process analysis or supply-chain management.
3.    Integrate operations and information management tools into your consulting kit.
4.    Differentiate yourself for the job market with real-world experience.
5.    Take a closer look at some promising prospective employers.
