In order to provide a hands-on experience in tackling real-world problems in operations consulting this Fall, the management department is offering the Operations Learning Lab class. Groups of 4-6 students will manage a substantial project with well-known firms such as Dell, Applied Materials, Dell, Frito-Lay, or ChevronTexaco in order to hone their abilities in operational strategy, process analysis and design, supply-chain management, and total quality management.
1. Learn more about operations after taking the core
class.
2. Solve practical problems in process analysis or
supply-chain management.
3. Integrate operations and information management tools into
your consulting kit.
4. Differentiate yourself for the job market with real-world
experience.
5. Take a closer look at some promising prospective employers.
BA380D Microeconomics &
Operations Core Class. Please note that you
do not have to concentrate in operations
to take this course.
