Austin Hotel in Austin on January 6 and 7 for $119/night.  (Please mention that you are with the "System Dynamics Winter Conference" or "SDWC" to get the reduced rate.)  The Stephen F. Austin  is a historic, beautiful hotel that is well-known throughout Texas.  It also sits in the heart of Downtown Austin and is quite convenient to the University. 

Reserved rooms are, however, limited, and the special rate is only good on reservations made on or before DECEMBER 5, 2004.
