The Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Center supports research on issues related to private equity finance, capital markets, corporate finance, investments, real estate, and other associated areas.  The finance faculty at the McCombs School includes a number of highly accomplished researchers who study areas of finance related to the private equity market.  The center supports research by these faculty as well as by the Ph.D. students who work with them.  The objective of this research is to help us better understand the private equity market and the financial activities of the participants in this market.
