Publications
The Publications area is managed by Dale Allen, our resident Graphic
Designer. You may contact Dale by phoning 232-6672 or by e-mailing
Dale.Allen@mccombs.utexas.edu. The Publications Division is
located in UTC 1.110.
ATTENTION: All publication services are reserved for the
McCombs School of Business only. If you are with another school on
campus you can contact the
DIIA Digital
Media Lab (475-6364) which is located in GSB 2.130 for multimedia
assistance.
Graphics Request Form:
Please submit a Graphics Request Form for all of your Publications requests.
Posters:
Poster printing is reserved for the McCombs School
of Business only. If you are with another school on campus you can
contact the DIIA
Digital Media Lab (475-6364) which is located in GSB 2.130 for
poster printing.
Posters and banners are produced on photo gloss paper on our HP
Designjet 5500ps. Banners are $10 per linear foot (i.e. a 6 foot
banner = $60). Posters mounted on foam core (24x36 inches) are
$30.18 each.
Please Note: This service is NOT self help or by appointment,
you must submit a

Publication Layout and Design:
Publications are formatted in Adobe InDesign CS2, supported by Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator CS2. Documents can also be saved as PDF files. There is a labor fee of $18.00 per hour.
Photo/Slide/Text Scanning:
Photos and 35mm slides are scanned and formatted in
Adobe Photoshop CS2. Scans can be saved as EPS, TIFF, PICT, GIF or
JPEG. Text can be scanned with the optical character recognition
program Omni Page. There is a labor fee of $18.00 per hour.
PowerPoint Presentations:
Microsoft PowerPoint presentations can be produced for a labor fee
of $18.00 per hour.
Laser Engraved Signs:
This service is reserved for the McCombs School of
Business only.
You can order laser engraved nameplates and directional signs at the
Media Services checkout counter in GSB 3.132. For more information
please call 232-6679.
Plan Ahead:
Business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except holidays.
Please allow for three working days or more depending on the
complexity of the project.
Word to the wise: don't wait until the day before your
deadline to submit a request.
Prices:
All of the listed services have a labor fee of
$18.00 per hour plus materials. Time spent on the computer is
considered labor.
