Committing to Enroll in the Texas MPA Program
Needless to say, the Accounting faculty and staff at The University of Texas at Austin hope that all students admitted to the MPA program will commit to enroll at UT. By doing so, you will not only be joining the number one ranked graduate accounting program in the nation, you will find that the Austin community has much to offer as well. The opportunities that a Texas MPA degree will afford you upon graduation are virtually endless. To facilitate our planning, please submit the MPA Response Form online at: https://utdirect.utexas.edu/business/mpa_ppa_exit_survey/mpa_admissions_response_client.WBX whether or not you plan to enroll in the MPA Program at the University of Texas at Austin. Unless the correspondence from our office indicates otherwise, we ask that you respond no later than April 15, 2008. Students admitted after April 15, 2008, are given approximately two weeks after their admission date to make their enrollment decision. If you find that you need more time to make your decision, please discuss this with Keri Ledezma.
In addition to completing and submitting the MPA Program Response Form, newly admitted MPA students are asked to submit an Enrollment Deposit of $400 (U.S.) within the same timeframe as the Program Response Form. Once received and deposited by the Office of Student Accounts Receivable, the Enrollment Deposit is non-refundable. Enrollment deposit funds will be held until the candidate formally registers and initiates payment activity for his/her first semester's classes. At that time, all enrollment deposit funds will be automatically applied toward that first semester's tuition and fee requirements. Please click here for the Enrollment Deposit instructions and form. Please note that the Enrollment Deposit is mailed to the Office of Student Accounts Receivable, not the MPA Program Office.
