1Incoming MPA students who do not qualify for the ACC 381–Financial Accounting waiver (based on two semesters of financial accounting, including one semester of intermediate accounting, at the undergraduate level with a grade of B or better) will be required to enroll in the second summer session (July 14 – August 18, 2008) and complete two courses: ACC 381-Financial Accounting and LEB 380.30-Legal Environment of Business for MPAs. Please note that those students who do qualify for the ACC 381 waiver will not be allowed to start in the summer. In addition, students who have not completed Introduction to Financial Accounting or the equivalent at another institution must enroll in ACC 311-Fundamentals of Financial Accounting in the first summer session (June 5 - July 12, 2008). ACC 311 (or the equivalent) is a prerequisite to ACC 381 - Financial Accounting. If you have any questions about whether or not you will be required to start in the summer, please contact Keri Ledezma at (512) 471-1051 or Keri.Ledezma@mccombs.utexas.edu.
