Code of Conduct Of the Master in Professional Accounting Program At The University of Texas at Austin
Under this Code of Conduct, all students
enrolled in the Master in Professional
Accounting (MPA) Program at The University of
Texas at Austin (UT) must,
1. Show respect for the UT Faculty, staff, and
other students, both inside and outside the
classroom;
2. Show respect for non-UT personnel, including
recruiters, employers, and other outside
professionals, both inside and outside the
university.
3. Endeavor to attend class regularly and to
arrive promptly at the commencement of the
class period;
4. Address grievances in a professional,
constructive, and appropriate manner.
5. Refrain from engaging in any conduct that
may delay or disrupt class;
6. Refrain during class from reading materials,
or engaging in activities, that are not
authorized by the Instructor.
7. Respect the property of UT and the
reputation of the MPA –its faculty, students,
and staff.
8. Abide by university rules on academic
integrity, as well as the Honor Code of the UT
Department of Accounting;
9. Observe the highest standards of
professional ethics and conduct in dealings
with others.
Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including possible suspension or dismissal from the MPA Program.
