Texas CPA Exam Pass Rates by Exam Part

 The CPA Examination is comprised of four sections.            
            AUD     Auditing and Attestation
            BEC      Business Environment and Concepts
            FAR      Financial Accounting and Reporting
            REG      Regulation

Historically, Texas MPA students have performed extremely well on the Uniform CPA Examination.  In fact, several of our students have received the prestigious American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Sells Award for earning the highest cumulative scores on the four sections of the exam on their first attempt.

The tables below include the number of candidates sitting for each part of the exam in Texas, and the percentage that passed the exam during that attempt.  You will notice that candidates from UT-Austin typically have pass rates much higher than the statewide average on any given part of the exam.  Our students' pass rates also tend to exceed the national averages for each part of the exam, which range from 40 to 45%.
