Staff Excellence Award ($1,000)
Renamed the Tim Matthews Staff Excellence Award, this award is for an
outstanding individual who demonstrates excellence in the performance of
job duties, with an attitude that promotes and provides quality and
friendly service in the school. Tim Matthews, former Director of Computer
Services, passed away in July 2004. Tim embodied these traits, always
tackling the challenges of his position with enthusiasm and goodwill, and
naming this award for him is a tribute to his exemplary service. The
recipient must be a non-teaching staff member, Classified or Code 1000,
employed at least 20 hours a week as a permanent employee in the McCombs
School of Business. NOMINATIONS MAY BE SUBMITTED BY FACULTY/STAFF ONLY.
One award of $1,000 is available to:
- non-teaching staff
- classified & code 1000 employees
- permanent employees - 20 hours or more per week
- eligible exceptions are food service employees, custodial and duplication personnel
Criteria:
- demonstrates excellence in the performance of job duties (not restricted to student services)
- must be an employee in the McCombs School
Nominations may be submitted by faculty/staff only.
