The MBA reunions scheduled for this past year were a great success, providing ample opportunities for meeting new friends, renewing old friendships, and expanding the networking base of the attendees. It was also a chance for reunion classes to fulfill their philanthropic goals.
The Class of 1975 chose to sponsor the MBA Executive Lecture Series, a valuable program that keeps MBA students in touch with industry leaders. The Class of 1990 added to their 1988-89 Graduate Business Students’ Endowed Presidential Scholarship, which they had established when they were students, supporting yet another student. Not to be outdone, the leadership of the Class of 1995 is urging classmates to pledge at least $1,000 each to participate in funding a new MBA student lounge, to help make the student experience better than ever.
It is not too late to join your class in supporting current students and promoting the value of your degree. For more information on these and other exciting alumni-funded initiatives, contact Judy Amis, Director of Annual Giving, at (512) 475-8178.
