This year, the graduating MBHP seniors (Class of 2002) added to the Make a Mark Endowed Presidential Scholarship, building on the fund initially established by the Classes of 00 and 01.
Class of 02 pledge totals reached $18,156, including a generous corporate match from Goldman Sachs. As of August 21, 2002, the total pledged amount for all classes was almost $55,000, with $44,831 of pledges fulfilled. The scholarship will be officially established when the endowment reaches the $50,000 threshold.
A special thanks to Lynn Popiel, chair of the 2002 MAM Campaign, and committee members Robert Chen, Lauren Adam, Daniel Glover, and David Hampton for coordinating a very successful campaign!
Future classes and campaigns will continue to support the Make a Mark Endowed Presidential Scholarship, making educational opportunity available to more MBHP students and with higher payout amounts.
