Daniel C. Arnold A native Houstonian, Daniel Arnold received both his business administration and law degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. After a 30 year career practicing law with Vinson & Elkins, he moved into banking and held top posts at First City Bancorporation and Farm & Home Financial Corporation. Arnold has been an active community leader throughout his career and has been involved with UT for many years. He and his wife Beverly are members of the Chancellor’s Council and the Littlefield Society.

John H. Duncan With a BBA degree from UT Austin, John Duncan began his career as a salesman with Duncan Coffee Company (now the Coca-Cola Foods Division). He co-founded Gulf + Western, a company with interests in automotive parts, financial services, publishing, and entertainment (now merged with Viacom). Duncan is active in many cultural, educational, and civic organizations in the Houston community. He received the Ex Students’ Association Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1988; and his involvement in UT includes membership in the Centennial Commission, Chancellor’s Council, the Littlefield Society, and the Development Board.
