Class of 1958 Celebrates 50-Year Reunion

Thirty graduates from the class of 1958 returned to the McCombs School as part of their 50th Reunion this spring. They toured the business school and enjoyed a reception in the Hall of Honors as part of their university-wide reunion activities April 30-May 2.

A lot has changed since their days on campus when “Wagon Train” and “The Donna Reed Show” were hits on television, bestselling books included “Exodus” and “Dr. Zhivago,”and “Catch a Falling Star” and “The Purple People Eater” topped the popular music charts. As students, the class of 1958 also had the pleasure of celebrating the university’s 75th anniversary, watching Darrell Royal coach the Longhorns in the Sugar Bowl and hearing T.S. Eliot read in Gregory Gym.
