Thomas Price, BBA 43, has been honored with a Cincinnati Adult Metropolitan Tennis Championship named after him since 1992 and court number 9 at Venerable Cincinnati Tennis Club named after him since 2002.
Tom Baker, BBA 46, finished his 55th year in Lite Insurance sales in Plainview, TX. He's looking forward to enjoying his season tickets to Longhorn Baseball this spring.
Joseph E. Hollan, BBA 61, recently retired after serving as an examiner for the Texas Credit Union Department and VP, Senior VP, and President of credit unions in Victoria, Richardson and Portland, TX. Joe now owns and operates EBH Ranches near Victoria, TX, raising commercial Angus cattle.
Scott Sandahl, BBA 74, recently published his first novel, an action-adventure story entitled Water Ride. He has also just opened Anchor House Books, a book and gift store in Port Aransas, TX.

David W. Polstra, BBA 79, was listed in Worth magazine as one of the top 250 financial advisors in the U.S. in 2002. He was also named one of the top 150 financial advisers for doctors in Medical Economics in 2002.

Mark Lee, BBA 80, was featured in the December 2001 issue of Money magazine, in an article about personal finances in the current economy. Mark is highlighted for his disciplined approach to planning for his family's financial future. He is Associate General Counsel for AIG/American General and his wife is Chief of Staff for the Mayor Pro Tem's Office for the City of Houston.
Gary P. Matocha, BBA 80, was recently promoted to president of RE-NU, Inc., a distributor of high-tech coatings in Houston. He and wife Cinde, along with their two children, moved back to Texas after living in Kansas where Gary worked for General Electric as a regional manager.
Joy Smith, BBA 80, started selling JoyPeppers, a bread-and-butter style jalapeno, several years ago in the Austin area. She recently won first place in the pickled category of Chile Pepper Magazine's prestigious National Fiery Foods Challenge for 2003.
Jerry D. Palmer, BBA 81, after practicing law for 12 years in San Diego, co-founded Ascent Partners in January 2000. Ascent Partners is a specialty investment banking firm based in San Diego, CA. He and his wife Karen live in San Diego with their two children, Austin and Taylor.
Mike Snyder, BBA 84, married Diane Comstock on center ice between periods of the Carolina Hurricanes and Washington Capitals hockey game in Raleigh, NC on Valentine's Day, 2003. The couple had won a "Wedding on Ice" radio contest, writing an essay on why they wanted to be married at center ice that was chosen from among 300 entries. The wedding party included "Stormy," the Carolina mascot. The two are huge sports fans and Hurricane volunteers.
Mark D. Plaue, BBA 86, is proud to be approaching his tenth year anniversary at Alcon Laboratories as an IT systems specialist. Mark and his wife Cindy own Safeguard Investments-a property management firm in the DFW Metroplex. Just recently, Mark also joined The Michael Group as a real estate investment specialist and full service realtor.
William Ronald Miller II, BBA 88, left PriceWaterhouse Coopers Consulting Services to join Edward Jones as a financial planner.
Suzanne Schorlemer, BBA 88, married Jay Bailey in May 2001. Suzanne is an attorney with Oppenheimer, Blend, Harrison & Tate, Inc. in San Antonio.
Brian Becker, BBA 89, graduated from the UT Law School in 1992 and started his own law firm in 1995, which has grown to five employees. Brian Becker & Associates offices in downtown Dallas.
Shannon Annette Hilton, BBA 90, graduated with distinction from Santa Clara University with an MBA in June 2002.
J. Marc Neves, BBA/MPA 90, married Kimberly Roberts last October on the stage of the old Austin Opera House (now the offices of Hire.com) in a wedding ceremony that was broadcast via web cam over the Internet. They had become engaged atop the UT tower. Marc and Kim reside in Palm Harbor, FL along with their son, Joshua.
Stefanie Cole Viola, BBA 91, welcomed a son, Scott, in September. She and husband Jay run a vacation resort on an island off the Caribbean coast

Gregory M. Busch, BBA 92, and his wife Jennifer welcomed son Jared Parker Busch in June 2002.
Hartono Jap, BBA 92, was promoted from AVP to VP, Chemicals and Healthcare at ABN AMRO Indonesia. He lives in Jakarta.
David M. Love, BBA 92, formerly a partner at the law firm of Vanderkam & Sanders, has opened a law office. He and his wife Hannah announced the birth of their daughter Marisa, who joins big brother Jordan.
Tana (Bosak) Migit, BBA 92, lives in Houston with her husband Jeff. The couple had a baby girl in December 2001.
Cory R. Cox, BBA 93, and his wife Becky had their first child, Karenna Renee, in September 2002.
Sachin Menon, BBA 93, recently co-founded Southwest Liberty Capital LLC. Sachin and his wife, Sangeeta, BA 94, live in Houston and have one daughter.
Steve Burger, BBA 94, recently relocated to Tortola, British Virgin Islands, to take a job as Sales and Marketing Manager for Caribbean Cellars Ltd. Friends and family keep up with Steve at

Sanem Alkan, BBA 94, earned an MBA in 1999 from NYU Stern before joining Goldman Sachs' Private Wealth Management team. In July,
she joined Whitney & Co. in Stamford, CT as VP responsible for new business development. Whitney is the oldest private equity firm in the US.

Robert "Brian" Livingston, BBA 98, graduated from UT-Dallas with an MBA in 2001 and an MS-Accounting in 2002. Brian was recently promoted to Assistant VP of Corporate Banking at Compass Bank in Dallas.
Barry McFadden, BBA 98, received a JD from the UT School of Law and practices
with Andrews & Kurth LLP in Houston.Gerardo Carbajal, BBA 98, is attending the MBA program at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, focusing on Health Care Management. Gerry was recently elected to the board of directors for the Texas Rural Health Association.
Brad Buchhorn, PPA 99, and Laura Galan, PPA 99, married in September 2002 at Mission San Jose in San Antonio. The couple reside in Dallas and work for Transport Industries and Greystone Communities, respectively.
Jonathan Sprinkles, BBA 99, travels all over the country teaching young adults how to live their lives with purpose and zeal through keynote speeches and workshops called "Sprinklisms."
