McCombs Announces New BBA Alumni Network
With 11 years of success supporting the McCombs MBA Alumni (MMA)
Network, the school will extend this effort to BBA alumni by
establishing the McCombs BBA Alumni (MBBA) Network.
The MBBA Network will connect alumni to each other and to McCombs,
enhance the student experience through interaction with alumni, and
provide lifelong learning opportunities. The MBBA Network will leverage
MMA Network best practices to develop a strong organization that
provides valuable opportunities for BBA alumni.
As the school creates the MBBA Network, it will also work with the MPA
and BHP programs on program-specific alumni initiatives.
In the coming year, the school plans to host several chapter kickoff
events in key cities as well as an annual graduation event. Over the
next few years, the MBBA Network will expand its services to include
additional activities, which are offered by the MMA Network. BBA alumni
can look forward to a reunion weekend, an annual business conference,
multiple chapter receptions, and an alumni/student mentorship program.
Senior class gift and reunion giving campaigns will be established as
well.
"The friends I met at McCombs are many of my friends for life," says
Christina Trampota, BBA '99 and business development manager at
Motorola. "You never know when one of those connections or a new alumni
connection might lead to the next step in your career."
Trampota encourages alumni to get involved. "Alumni will make this
network successful for everyone," she says. "Whether you are changing
jobs, going back to grad school, hiring employees, or interested in
expanding your knowledge, the MBBA Network will be a great avenue to
achieving these goals."
The MBBA Network is looking for volunteers to get involved and assist
with its creation and development. If you are interested in helping
create a network that will benefit you for the remainder of your

Jennie Loev, director of the McCombs MBA Alumni (MMA) Network, is the
new director of alumni relations. She will continue with her duties as
the director of the MMA Network as well as oversee the operations and
planning for the entire McCombs School Alumni Relations Department.
