Four Profs Receive National Accounting Awards

Austin, TX – Four McCombs professors received distinguished awards from the American Accounting Association at the organization's annual meeting held August 14-17 in San Antonio.
The four honored were as follows:
Kinney's award comes on the heels of his selection in May 2002 as the top accounting professor in the nation for the past year, according to the The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The McCombs School of Business is an international leader in accounting education. In September of 2001, Public Accounting Report ranked the school's graduate accounting programs #1 in the country for the eighth year in a row, based on an annual survey of accounting professors. The same report rated the undergraduate accounting program #1 in the country and the doctoral program #3.
