Weaver Wins 2004-05 Faculty Excellence Award in
Accounting
The Undergraduate Business Council has recognized Connie Weaver, an assistant professor in the department of accounting, with the 2004-2005 Faculty Excellence Award in Accounting. Every accounting professor who taught undergraduate classes in the spring or fall semester of 2004 was eligible for this award, which is determined by student voting. This is a repeat victory for Weaver, who was also recognized for her teaching abilities by the UBC in 2003-2004.
Weaver, who has been at the McCombs School of Business since 1999, teaches introductory taxation in the PPA/MPA program. Her research focuses on understanding the influence of taxation and accounting on corporate decision-making and asset pricing.
Congratulations!
