What: Lyceum Speaker Series

Where: Auditorium, San Jacinto Residence Hall   

Why attend: Andrew Hutson co-leads Environmental Defense’s on-site engagement with Wal-Mart, in Bentonville, Ark., and is primarily involved with efforts to improve Wal-Mart’s environmental impact in global logistics, electronics products and textiles, along with issues associated with international operations and China. He has also served as a consultant to business and nonprofit organizations in both developing and industrialized countries, including Oxfam America, Ford de México and Industria Nacional de Autopartes (the Mexican autoparts industry association). Mr. Hutson worked as a Business Process Analyst for Accenture and has served as a nature guide instructor with the RARE Center for Tropical Conservation in Honduras.
