Why attend: Stefan Whitwell is a dynamic speaker who enjoys interacting with his audience. He will discuss ethical issues that face most business professionals, using examples from his experience in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in both New York and Tokyo and more recently as CEO of Austin-based Tierra Capital, a value-added real estate investment firm.

Bio: Stefan Whitwell manages all financial aspects of the firm and co-chairs the investment committee. His background includes being director for Credit Suisse First Boston, Strategic Investments, an Equities Division associate at Goldman Sachs, and mergers & acquisitions analyst at James D. Wolfensohn. Whitwell is a chartered financial analyst,  a founding member of the Chartered Realty Investor Society, and a member of the Japan Society of Investment Professionals.

He earned his BS with a concentration in finance from The Wharton School of Business in 1994.
