Why attend: Since 1979, Mr. Woods has served as president of McCombs Enterprises, the management entity for the McCombs family investments. These investments include automobile dealerships, oil and gas exploration, real estate investments, broadcasting, ranching, and others. Mr. Woods is a graduate of Texas State University (BBA) and Southern Methodist University (MBA). He pursued doctoral studies at North Texas State University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Woods is a CPA, is active in numerous professional organizations and currently serves on the board of directors of Argonaut Group, Inc. (Chairman), and the Cancer Therapy and Research Center..
