Behavioral Laboratory

The Business School's Behavioral Research Laboratory supports research on issues that affect human behavior or performance.

The laboratory consists of two rooms. One is equipped with a large one-way mirror for viewing individuals or groups and an array of audio and video equipment. This room accommodates research on group activities such as boardroom discussions, bilateral negotiations and interactions among professionals formulating mathematical models, decision trees, flow charts or organization charts.

The second lab room is equipped with eleven personal computers that can be used on a stand-alone basis or in a network. It is especially useful for undertaking research on topics such as individual or group problem solving, computer interface design, consumer behavior, auditor behavior, learning of heuristics and distributed decision making or system design.
