World-class Professors
BHP students enjoy average class sizes of 30-40 and and access to some of the top professors at The University, many who primarily teach MBA classes.
With courses patterned after the MBA program, our students are well prepared for careers in many areas as well as graduate programs.

Leadership is not only a requirement for admission in the BHP, but also a skill we continued to develop. Across campus and throughout the McCombs School of Business, BHP students are the presidents, chairs, and board members of organizations and programs.

Excellence
We emphasize excellence both inside and outside the classroom. There are numerous student organizations within the McCombs School of Business and over 800 student organizations at the University covering almost every possible interest that students may have. Through campus and community involvement, students learn leadership and teamwork skills valuable in the workplace.

Career Preparation
BHP graduates seeking employment upon graduation are offered multiple positions at top salaries in a variety of areas including management consulting, investment banking, and accounting. Other BHP students pursue a law or medical degree. Employers and graduate school seek out BHP students due to their strong academic, interpersonal, and analytic skills.

Honors Business Association
The student organization of the BHP, the Honors Business Association (HBA) provides social and professional development activities to the students of the program. The HBA regularly hosts Company Nights where firms speak to the students about various industry opportunities.
Other programs include "Dinning with a prof" which is an opportunity for HBA members to host a professor for dinner once a month as means to establish professional and and academic dialogue with the professor outside of class.
In addition, HBA host a variety of socializing programs which include a study network, a social network, and a program which facilitates corporate tours of companies in other cities and states.

Alumni Involvement
With a very successful and active alumni base, BHP students enjoy access to former students through an alumni mentor program, speaker series, and regular program involvement. Lawyers, doctors, Congressmen, CEO's, and investment bankers all make for a diverse alumni group interested in making the BHP the best undergraduate program in the country.

At their fingertips, BHP students have access to the vast resources of the McCombs and the University of Texas. BHP students can take advantage of vast technology resources, unique opportunities to team with MBA students, more than 40 business student organizations, and five full-time BHP staff members to make your path a smooth one.

Sense of Community
Within a large university sits a program focused on the individual. With 500 students spread over four class levels, the BHP gives its students the individualized attention and sense of community typically found at small liberal arts colleges. The BHP is dedicated to providing an enriching and interactive undergraduate experience.
