GPA Requirements

Freshman (3.5 overall GPA Required) |

| In-class UT GPA ▪ must be 3.5 or greater by the end of freshman year for core UT classes (grades claimed from AP tests will not count into your GPA). | |
| Hours completed by end of freshman year ▪ You must have completed at least 24 hours in residence on a letter-grade basis by the end of the freshman year. | |
| GPA Reviews ▪ GPA is evaluated in December and May. | |
| Probationary period ▪ If you fall below the 3.5 requirement in the fall semester, you will be placed on probation. You must use your spring semester to earn a combined Fall and Spring freshman year average of at least a 3.5 GPA in order to stay in the BHP. | |
| Dismissal ▪ If your GPA falls below a 3.5 in the spring and your resulting average for the school year is below a 3.5, you will not receive a probationary period and you will be automatically dismissed from the program. | |

Sophomore, Juniors, and

| Overall GPA ▪ must be 3.25 or greater (for both business and non-business courses including grades claimed from AP credit). | |
| Business GPA ▪ Must be 3.25 or greater (for all business classes, including non-honors classes). | |
| GPA Reviews ▪ GPA is evaluated in December and May. | |

Automatic Dismissal
▪ If you fall
below the 3.25 GPA requirements,
you will automatically be
dismissed from the program.
There is no probationary semester. |

| Appeals ▪ will be accepted for extenuating, nonacademic circumstances, and will require documentation. |
