  IMPACT:     BHP students are chosen not just for their academic prowess, but also for the many ways they exhibit leadership characteristics and the impact they have on their communities. They create a heavy footprint once they arrive on campus as well, taking on significant leadership roles, embracing social causes, and continually working to make the UT community a better place than they found it. The BHP student body recognizes that while academics lie at the core the college experience, true accomplishment extends far beyond the classroom walls.

• Community

  COMMUNITY:     No one quality embodies the BHP’s mission more completely than its collaborative community. Your 120 classmates will be a part of every aspect of your life. They will define your learning experience through shared coursework, team projects, case competitions, student organizations, and study groups. Should you choose to live in the honors dorms, they will be your neighbors and roommates. They will be the core component of your college experience and inevitably your lifelong friends.

We understand that to embrace the diverse perspectives and opinions that are the necessary ingredients of academic discussion and instruction, you must also embrace the differences in background and personal history through which those perspectives were formed.
