BBA Global Business Program: Accommodations
Students from our partner
universities will reside at
University
Towers, a private student residence hall. The residence is easily
accessible to the McCombs School of Business (about a 10-minute walk) and is
conveniently located near restaurants, pharmacy, bookstores, etc.
Amenities at the residence include:
cafeteria,
swimming pool, TV lounge, 24 hour computer lab, free wireless internet, game
room, laundry room on each floor, local telephone service, and exercise
facility. For additional information, see the
University
Towers amenities website.
The rooms are furnished and include a living area, study space, bathroom,
kitchen, walk-in closet, individually controlled air conditioning, and balcony.
Linens (towels, light blanket, and pillow) will be provided by University
Towers. Desk lamps, dishes, and heavy blankets/comforter are not included
and students are encouraged to plan accordingly. A weekly meal plan (19 meals
per week) is included in your program fee. Please be advised that students
are responsible for their own laundry. Coin operated laundry facilities are
available on each floor of the residence.
Rooms/Suites
As a group, we've requested the
2-bedroom/2-bathroom style (apartment
or suite style) rooms. Depending on availability of rooms, University
Towers may assign our group to some 2-bedroom/1-bathroom and
1-bedroom/1-bathroom suites. Please be advised that the 1-bedroom/1-bath,
private studio, and 2-bedroom/2-bath extra large apartments are extremely
limited and will be issued by University Towers Management accordingly.
Additional Suite Information:
• The 2-bedroom/2-bathroom suites include the following: two
bedrooms, four twin beds (two per bedroom), two bathrooms, two closets (one in each
bedroom), a living room, and a kitchen.
• The 2-bedroom/1-bathroom
suites include the following: two bedrooms, four twin beds (two per
bedroom), one bathroom, two closets, a living room, and a kitchen.
• The 1-bedroom/1-bathroom suite includes
the following: one bedroom, two twin beds, one bathroom, one closet,
living room, and kitchen.
Please note that the 2-bedroom suites are shared
by four students and the 1-bedroom suites are shared by two students.
Roommates/Suitemates
All students will be assigned to double rooms.
Roommates will be assigned in advance (in late June).
Please plan to share a suite with
students from one of the other universities. This means that you will
share a bedroom with a student from your university and that you will share an
apartment/suite with students from one of the other partner universities. This
will provide you with an opportunity to learn from other students and to enhance
your overall experience in the BBA Global Business Program and in Austin.
Please be advised that when there are odd numbers of male or female participants
in the BBA Global Business Program, it is possible that some students will share
a bedroom with a program participant from one of the other partner universities.
