Orientation and Support
Participants are required to attend pre-departure orientation workshops held on the UT-Austin campus in the spring and an on-site orientation in Prague. A UT-Austin program liaison will be in Prague with the students for the duration of the program.  Students are strongly encouraged to participate in activities that are designed to acquaint them with the surroundings, the public transportation systems, and some of the major cultural sites in Prague.

Activities
Shortly after their arrival, students will participate in a required on-site orientation to acquaint them with Prague, the student residence, and the University of Economics campus.  For the duration of the program, the UT-Austin program liaison arranges group activities/cultural visits for participants. Some activities are covered by your CIBER program fee, and others may require a small fee. 

Prague's historic city center features well-preserved architectural examples from all periods of its history and is on the UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites.
