ALEXIS TAKVORIAN has been with Dell, Inc., for six years and is currently Senior Manager for Network Planning and Optimization. His area of responsibility centers around designing optimization models for location analysis, logistics, and capacity modeling, supporting both strategic and key operational decisions in supply chain.

Prior to Dell, Takvorian worked for Motorola and in private consulting practice. He has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Operations Research from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He is a past lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin and the author of several refereed articles and conference papers.
