Global Commercial Director at GE Equipment Services

 

           Juan Mogollon is Global Commercial Director at GE Equipment Services, based in Stamford, CT. The company provides leasing and asset management services for commercial and transportation equipment.  Its primary business units include Rail Services, Trailer Fleet Services, Modular Space, SEACO and Penske Truck Leasing. As Commercial Director, Mogollon oversees all sales and marketing for GE Equipment Services and its business units. Equipment Services generates $ 7.0 billion in annual sales with a commercial team deployed in 19 countries.

 

A 20-year veteran of General Electric, Mogollon previously served for 3 years as Sales Vice President in Europe, for GE Consumer & Industrial in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and India.  Before GE Consumer & industrial, he served for 7 years in several leadership roles at GE Healthcare including: Managing Director for Brazil GE Medical Systems, based in Brazil; General Manager for Latin America Services, based in Miami; and General Manager for the Americas, Services Marketing, based in Milwaukee.

 

Mogollon moved to GE Healthcare from GE Advanced Materials, where he was Sales and Marketing manager for the GE Plastics in Mexico.  He had previously served in several Sales and Marketing roles in California for GE Plastics.

 

Mogollon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering in 1984 from the University of Arizona and his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1988 from the University of California, Berkeley.  He joined GE through the Edison Engineering Program in 1985 with GE Nuclear in San Jose, CA.

 

Mogollon is a member of the GE Corporate Commercial Council. He co-chairs the GE National Hispanic Forum.  He is on the board on the Yerwood Community Center in Stamford, CT
