MOD Lab
Reservations System
The MOD Lab Reservation system for McCombs
faculty/staff/student and organizational requests has
been completely revamped. You will need to use this
system exclusively to request MOD Lab reservations. DO
NOT EMAIL MOD Lab reservation requests to Michael Rowley.
The system requires you to input your UTEID and password and
is an intuitively designed system. Any request(s) will
be TENTATIVELY approved until a final approval decision is
made (usually within a business day). You will receive
email confirmation to this effect. Click on the link below
to utilize this system.

ATTENTION:
Faculty/Staff Requesting Lab Software Installs
The COE will no longer include software installed
exclusively or primarily in the Business School labs. The
Lab Supervisors will assume full responsibility for managing
the evaluation, purchasing, maintenance, version control,
and deployment of requested software. Please carefully
read the
COE (Common Operating Environment) page to determine
whether or not the requested software is already part of the
COE. The Computer Lab
Installed Software page lists the non-COE software
currently installed in the labs and should also be
consulted. Please complete the
online request form to begin the installation request
process if the software you require is not listed on the COE
page. Please be sure to completely read the
information preceding the form.
Keep Your Data Safe and Improve Startup Speed
- Save your work on multiple separate resources. These resources could include, but are not limited to, saving to your McCombs MySite, burning to a CD, e-mailing file(s) to yourself, saving to your UT WebSpace, or saving to a USB drive.
- Make sure you log off every time you leave the lab. This helps prevent profile corruption.
- You may temporarily save files to C://Temp. Be sure to upload file(s) to one of the separate resources listed above before logging off. All items in the Temp folder will be deleted upon logoff.
