Second Annual
MBA Hedge Fund Symposium

The Texas MBA Hedge Fund Organization is proud to host the second annual MBA Hedge Fund Symposium on April 15th 2004. The event has an impressive list of hedge fund managers and industry professionals addressing the latest industry trends and alternative investment strategies. The primary goal of the symposium is to educate MBA students on the advanced portfolio management techniques used by leading hedge fund managers.

The event will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

• Senior personnel from leading hedge funds presenting on the fundamentals of their respective trading strategies and offering useful insights to the hedge fund arena.
• University of Texas alumni in the hedge fund industry will be speaking on two separate industry panels. The alumni represent various instrumental fields in the industry: Principals of funds, portfolio managers, attorneys, pension and endowment funds.
• Key note speaker is Bob Boldt, CEO of UTIMCO. Mr. Boldt will present on how UTIMCO views alternative investing with respect to the UT endowment.

There will be presentations by Bob Boldt, Kirk Strawn, and Eliot Raffkind. Two panels at the event will consist of (and not limited to) Scott Canon, Mike Weinberg, Cathy Iberg, Larry Powell, Barry Steinhardt, Buck Green, and Brett Neubert.
