Standings
1.
There are six brackets each with four teams.
2.
Teams will receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and no points for
a loss.
3.
Based on point-standing, the 1st place team of each group will automatically
advance to Sunday's play-off round.
4.
In the event two teams in a bracket tie in point-standings, the following
tiebreakers will be used (in order):
Points
Head-to-head result
Goal differential
Goals for
Coin toss
5.
The two best of the remaining teams will also advance to the second round.
The same tiebreaker criterion (4) applies.
6.
Second-round seeding will be based on points and goal differential.
Playoffs
In the event of a tie during the play-offs, teams will play two 10-minute,
sudden-death overtime periods. If the game is still tied, there will be a
penalty-kick shoot-out in which 5 players from each team alternate shots. If
the game is still tied after the first five shooters, the teams will
alternate one shooter at a time until a winner emerges.
Discipline
Please give the referees the respect they deserve. Fights will not be
tolerated - any player fighting will be immediately sent-off and
disqualified from the tournament. Teams that fight risk being removed from
the tournament immediately and sent packing. Again, thanks for your
cooperation.
