Information for Recruiters: The Graduate Consulting Group strives to ensure the students in the McCombs school are the best source of new consulting talent for our industry partners. To successfully accomplish this mission, the GCG requests help from leading consulting firms to foster the necessary relationship between consultants and motivated students. Students benefit from the relationship by being better prepared and informed about the rigors, joys, and benefits of a consulting lifestyle. Consulting firms benefit with opportunities to meet and recruit prospective students.
The GCG provides members with critical tools such as our case interview curriculum and case database engine to help prepare them for the interviewing season and for the consulting lifestyle. We look forward to your visit to the McCombs School and will work with you to ensure a successful mission.
The University of Texas campus can be confusing. See the campus map below to help you find your way to the McCombs School of business. The business school is enclosed in a red circle on the map on the corner of Speedway and 21st Street.

| Recruiting Methods
|
Most consulting firms arrive in either the Fall (for 2nd year MBAs) or early Spring (for MBA internship candidates). A majority of firms offer information sessions within the business school (in a cohort room or larger presentation area) complete with some refreshments, although the more successful events have included either a training event (case interviewing workshop) or social event (happy hour).
Feel free to
contact the GCG for a complete listing of recruiting firms and events.
