Research interests:  power, status, influence, leadership, organizational change, and social equality.

10 Publications: including work in Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Applied Psychology, Research on Managing Groups and Teams, Research in the Sociology of Work, and Organizational Research Methods.

Awards and grants: Teaching Award from Kellogg School of Management; Best Paper Award from the Academy of Management; $20,000 State Farm grant, $25,000 UT Austin Faculty Development Program research grant, Research Fellowship from the UT Austin Center for Women and Gender Studies and a McCombs Special Research Grant.
