The New GMN Logo

Thank you to Shannon Ellison and her boyfriend Kurt Richmond for developing the new GMN logo.  As a thank you for their efforts, the pair will receive a $200 prize.  We received some great submissions.  Thanks to all of those who put their creativity to the test.

A Year in the Life of a CPG MBA

25 1st Year members participated in Frito-Lay's "A Year in the Life of a Brand Manager" workshop on Friday, January 25th.  Students did a case study for Sun Chips and created Sun Chips marketing plans for both large grocery stores and Whole Foods.  They learned about agency interaction and practiced creative briefing.  

"The Frito-Lay team and guest speakers delivered a great presentation on the various levels involved in brand management.  The activities really gave us a chance to practice what we had learned.  At the end of the day, we created over 27 distinct approaches to the marketing plan,"  Lisa Searing commented.

GMN Members Visit Nike

8 1st Year GMN members visited Nike's campus over the holiday break.  Students were exposed to the history and heritage of Nike and spoke to a panel of Nike representatives.  A highlight was getting to shop at the Nike store.
