Real Estate Finance & Investment Center
The Graduate Real Estate Society is supported by the Real Estate Finance & Investment Center. The Center supports curriculum development at McCombs as well as research and faculty development. The Center also organizes several events and initiatives that directly benefit McCombs real estate students, including:
- Annual Real Estate Challenge
- Annual Real Estate Career Day
- Career Mentoring Program
Council of the Real Estate Finance & Investment Center
The Real Estate Finance & Investment Center's network of supporters is led by its Council. The Council is comprised of leading professionals in the
U.S. and Texas real estate communities. In addition to contributing financial support, members of the
Council assist the Director of the Center and faculty by advising on program strategy and curriculum design, speaking in
classes, providing career advice to students in the program, identifying employment opportunities for students, and
supplying real estate properties as cases.
The Council is comprised of three levels of membership: Executive, Advisory, and Associate. The overwhelming majority of Associate Council members are McCombs alumni. Their financial contributions to the Center often include portions designated specifically for the Graduate Real Estate Society.
