Welcome to the Indian Graduate Business Association at the

McCombs School of Business

The following projects are currently planned:

1. Evaluating the decision variable for a portfolio approach to managing the value chain activities and the opportunities to explore India as a desired off shoring destination in various sectors including manufacturing, financial, insurance, and healthcare sectors.

2. Understanding the productivity, quality, threats, opportunities, and sustainability of business process outsourcing to India.

3. Understanding the consumer market in India and the nature of differences vis-à-vis the U.S. market.

4. Evaluating the implications of large-scale off shoring of value chain activities to India on the U.S. and Indian economies.

5. Identifying the key differences between the U.S. and Indian business practices including financial, accounting, labor laws, cultural and political issues.
